What drug is good for a seasonal allergy?

My daughter has a seasonal allergy. What drug is good for a seasonal allergy?

There are plenty of medications for allergies which are OTC. There is no one that is good, better or bad - the different medications can be helpful based on the symptoms of the patient. For example oral antihistamines like Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra work on sneezing, itching and drippy nose or eyes. The nasal sprays like Flonase, Nasacort or Astepro work more on nasal congestion and other nasal symptoms.  I would suggest discussing your daughter's specific symptoms with either her pediatrician or an allergist to get the best recommendation.  Monika Korff, MDFACAAIoffice-410-730-6000www.allergyasthmamaryland.com
