“When can I take shower after ear plastic surgery?”
I will have ear plastic surgery. When can I take shower after ear plastic surgery?

Since you have a planned procedure, please follow your surgeon's instructions. Each of us have our protocols though there is a general norm. I use the ASPS patient care module as my preop consent. Even with that, one may have variability based on patient population and need as well as surgeon experience. Thank you for your question and good luck with your procedure!
Typically tap water has a lot of bacteria in it, especially in hot places like the southern parts of the US. I would not shower for at least 3 days for a breast augmentation and 1 week for any other body surgery.
This is something you should ask your surgeon. He’s going to leave dressings on for a specific amount of time. Ask him how long the dressings will be on and he’ll be able to give you an idea of when you can shower. I usually recommend my patients don’t shower or get the ears wet for one week after oroplasty.
