“Do the teeth whitening pens work?”
I am a 28 year old male and I want to whiten my teeth. Do the teeth whitening pens work?

Using bleaching trays to hold the bleaching material close to the teeth has proven to be effective. The shorter the time the bleaching material is in contact with the teeth, the less effect can be expected. Lower concentrations of the bleaching material over a longer time sometimes has decreased sensitivity issues. Higher concentrations over a shorter time in bleaching trays have been effective, but in some cases there is risk of sensitivity.

It generally does.
The question becomes how safe and how effective it could be. There are a few pens your dentist should know about and tells if it can cause you sensitivity or not? And also is it going to give you the result you wish. I professionally advise them as a maintenance tool not beyond.
So if you are pleased with your teeth color or just had a professional whitening, then whitening pen is your go to.

Best way to whiten teeth is by using carbamide peroxide in a custom tray made by a dentist. Home methods can work, but you may not live long enough to notice any results.
You will get some change. Probably not as good as the strips. Its for convenience for people who don't want to even do the strips. Obviously the best results will come from in office with or with or with out light followed by home trays, lesser is home trays alone, below that is Opalescence go tray, then strips, then pen below that.
