“Should I be worried about an independent medical examination?”
My job wants me to go to an independent medical examiner before giving me my workman's comp. I know I have nothing to worry about because I really did hurt my back while lifting a heavy object, but I can't help it. What would be involved in an independent medical exam?

There are varying degrees of medical examinations. If you receive a comprehensive exam, it will include an examination of all body systems.
