“What is the best treatment for constant leg pain?”
My elderly mother fell 3 months ago, and has been dealing with constant leg pain since. Her doctor recommended that she take over the counter pain medication, but this has not been helping and she really does not like taking medication. What would be the best course of treatment to help ease her pain?

Hello,
Thank you for your question! The first step is to get to the root of the problem, as it could be a variety of things. The best option is to find a musculoskeletal physician, such as a Physiatrist/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist, so that they can order the appropriate imaging to be able to take a look at the underlying pathologies. Once they have that information, they will be able to educate you on the available treatment options.
