Where is the pain located with gastritis?

I am a 26 year old male. I want to know where is the pain located with gastritis?

It is debatable whether gastritis causes pain. It may cause pain when it happens acutely but chronic gastritis is not a good explanation for pain. In any event, pain originating in the stomach tends to localize in the left upper quadrant or above the belly button.
Usually the upper abdominal area.
