A distinguished periodontal surgeon changing lives through his expertise in dental implant reconstruction 

A distinguished periodontal surgeon specializing in implant dentistry, Dr. Morhaim is a surgical clinical associate in several dental practices with  locations in the tristate area, including Great Neck and  Tribeca, New York. His chief focus and expertise lies in what’s known as “digitally driven full arch dental implant reconstruction.” A “mouthful,” but a well-documented and clinically proven method of providing most patients with replacement teeth in just one day, utilizing the latest advanced technology in dental implant procedures.  

Graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, his academic achievements and accolades are a testament to his dedication to the dental profession, which include, The American Association Of Endodontics Award, The Academy Of Dentistry For The Disabled Award, and The American Dental Society Of Anesthesiology Award. His involvement in student alumni mentorship programs and community outreach initiatives showcases his passion for giving back and nurturing the next generation of dental professionals.

Following his dental school graduation, Dr. Morhaim pursued further specialization through a general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital and post-doctoral training at Boston University School of Periodontics and Oral Biology. His pursuit of excellence led him to become a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and years later, a Diplomate of the same organization, a prestigious honor achieved by only 4% of members in 80 countries.

In addition to these exemplary awards, he was a two-time Long Island Newsday Professional Achievement Award Winner, accepted by The Consumers Research Council Of America as one of “America’s Top Dentists,” and a frequently invited guest speaker on the live radio talk show “Dentistry Today.”

In addition to his contributions to the field of dentistry, he is a published author of the children's book, "Where Are All My Toys?" His passion for storytelling and writing has gained recognition from notable publications and even the former President of the United States, and featured in several online bookstores, as well the renowned LA Times Book Fair and Festival. Most recently he was interviewed by the Emmy award winning broadcaster and notable actor, Logan Crawford, on the show “Spotlight Network.” He is currently engaged in discussions with Columbia Pictures in association with HBO Max to convert his children’s book into an animated movie.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Morhaim remains deeply connected to his roots as a Brooklyn native. When he's not immersed in his dental practice or professional endeavors, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, indulging in outdoor activities like bike riding, archery and kayaking.

With a multilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, his ability to connect with a diverse range of patients underscores his commitment to providing exceptional care and personalized service. As an expert in periodontal surgery and implant dentistry, he continues to inspire and lead in the dental community, setting a high standard for excellence and compassion in patient care.
