Get to know General Practitioner Dr. James R. Meredith, who serves patients in Florida.

A well-versed general practitioner, Dr. Meredith is the Medical Director of New Smyrna Wellness Center in Florida.

Specializing treating musculoskeletal and skin conditions, some of the issues that he treats include low back pain, knee pain / osteoarthritis, hip pain, shoulder pain / rotator cuff syndrome, chronic pain syndrome, sciatica, hypertension / diabetes / hypothyroidism, obesity, skin cancer, and neuropathy.

Graduating with his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in 2002, Dr. Meredith went on to earn his medical degree from the  University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in 2006. He then proceeded to perform both his internship and residency at the said establishment in 2007 and 2010, respectively. 

With a focus on all aspects of wellness, he is affiliated with AdventHealth Daytona Beach.

Holding membership status with several organizations, Dr. Meredith is an active member of the American Medical Association and Alpha Omega Alpha. 

In the medical profession, a general practitioner is a physician who treats acute and chronic illnesses and provides preventive care and health education to patients of all ages.
