Dr. Gierbolini, a board-certified neurologist, is now accepting new patients (ages 18 and older) at BayCare Medical Group Primary Care (Riverview) in Florida. He is also a member of the medical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital-South.
In 2014, HealthPoint Medical Group, Morton Plant Mease Primary Care and Specialists, St. Anthony’s Primary Care and Specialists and Suncoast Medical Clinic formed to become BayCare Medical Group. Today, it is the largest multi-specialty physician group in the greater Tampa Bay area, with more than 500 providers and over 45 specialties.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Gierbolini completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Universidad de Puerto Rico in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine.
Furthering his training, he performed his internship at Damas Hospital in 2012, and his residency in neurology at the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida in 2015.
As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
Staying up to date in his field, Dr. Gierbolini is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society.
