Get to know Dentist Dr. Angela Ferrari, who serves patients in Farmingdale, New York.

A New York-based dentist, Dr. Ferrari is passionate about helping her Farmingdale, NY area patients achieve their very best smiles. At KFA Dental Excellence, she carefully listens to each patient's goals and utilizes masterful artistry and techniques to achieve those goals.

Pertaining to her educational background, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2001, and completed her dental residency in prosthetics at Northport Veterans Administration Hospital in 2002.

Consistently undergoing continuing education courses, Dr. Ferrari is certified in Invisalign® clear orthodontics, CEREC one-visit porcelain restorations, Nobel Biocare implant restorations, and Biolase laser dentistry. She has also completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, including bonding, porcelain veneers, and smile design.

As a way to stay up to date in new areas of dentistry, she is a member of several professional organizations, including: the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is also a member of various Farmingdale community groups, such as the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce and Spear Study clubs.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

When not performing family, cosmetic, and implant dentistry for her valued patients, Dr. Ferrari enjoys spending time with her two sons and her husband, Dr. Aldieri. She attributes her success to connecting with patients by explaining, especially when it comes to cosmetic options. What she thinks is best is not necessarily what the patient wants and she enjoys determining what the patient is looking to accomplish.
