Autism Spectrum Disorder

I am a mom of 4. My two middle sons are on the Autism Spectrum. My 2nd son is considered severe, non-verbal (Also has Diagnosis of ADHD, Language Delay, Mood Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, and OCD). Truly now it would be more accurate to say he is echolalic. My 3rd son is considered to have Mild Autism (Developmental Delays, Language Delay and Processing Issues, and Sensory Processing Disorder) I have learned much through this journey and went on to become a Special Education Teacher. I have been trained formally in Crisis Prevention Intervention Strategies, The Tough Kid Toolbox, writing IEPs, and more. I have sat through hundreds of hours of therapy sessions and learned many tricks. I would be more than willing to share insights as needed. I will say that through it all I have become acutely aware of my need for my Saviour. When I am weak, then HE is strong! My God is bigger than our worst day with Autism!
