Al elective surgery has some risk. Generally Laser Eye surgery is safe and uneventful in the hands of skilled surgeons. There is always a risk of infection, however if you follow post op instructions, it is usually minimal
All surgical procedures have elements of risk, ra risks ranging from minimal to significant. There are many types of laser eye surgeries and I would recommend you ask your eye surgeon or research the specific surgical procedure.
All surgeries carry some risk of complications and side effects, but LASIK is generally considered a safe procedure with a low complication rate.
