Of course, the purpose is to improve your vision. Most patients will heal up just fine from PRK and have no complications. It is important, as in all refractive surgery, to have enough cornea left after the surgery to maintain stability. There are a lot of factors that go into that assessment. Just remember, this is an elective surgery.
